The city of Saint-Brieuc

Saint-Brieuc and its centre are full of history: the city has preserved over time an architectural heritage not to be missed during your stay, as a couple or with your family in the Côtes-d'Armor.

We advise you to start your visit of the town by the Place des droits de l'Homme to discover the residence of the town's bishops. This building, classified as a historical monument, will charm you with its Louis XV style.

Then continue your visit by heading towards Saint-Etienne Cathedral. Dating from the 12ᵉ century, this religious building is one of the few fortified churches in Brittany. Restored from 2007 to 2019, the cathedral reveals all its splendour to its visitors. It also houses a magnificent organ dating from the 19ᵉ century.

Finally, we advise you to go to Place Louis Guilou and its half-timbered houses. There is also the Hôtel des ducs de Bretagne, classified as a historical monument. Admire the facades before heading to the Port du Légué.

This marina, located between the towns of Saint-Brieuc and Plérin, was once a harbour for the Grande Pêche à Terre-Neuve. Today it welcomes boaters and walkers.

The Côtes-d'Armor has some magnificent landscapes: less than 20 minutes away by car, discover the Bay of Saint-Brieuc Nature Reserve. This exceptional area, covering 1,140 hectares (including 4 hectares of land), is a winter home for migratory birds. This preserved area promises great outings for couples or families!

Continue your discovery of the area by taking one of the many hiking trails, including the GR®34. Starting from Mont-Saint-Michel, this long-distance footpath is accessible from the Rosaires beach in Plérin (12 minutes from the hotel) and offers breathtaking scenery.

It is on this same beach that you can also go fishing on foot during high tides. The next ones will take place on the following dates:
