Visit to Trégomeur Zoo
Take a stroll through the lush flora of Trégomeur Zoo
The history of the park
The adventure began in 2003 with the creation of a park with the vocation of being a conservatory of the nature of Asia and Madagascar.
During your visit, you'll learn about animals and their environment, and how to respect them.
You will meet species that are endangered in their natural environment and have found refuge in the zoo. The teams are committed to protecting them by initiating conservation programmes.
More than 300 animals from Asia and Madagascar live at the Zoo. They include carnivores, birds, reptiles, rodents, primates and herbivores.
Unusual activities to try at Trégomeur Zoo
The zoological and plant park offers some amazing experiences to enhance your visit.
Become a zookeeper for a day
Take part in educational activities with the park's animal care staff.
Several times a day, the general public can help the carers feed the animals.
Their experience enables them to give detailed explanations of the behaviour of each species. Each animal is different, providing visitors with a wealth of fascinating anecdotes.
The educational trail
The "P'tits Korrigans trail" has recently been set up right in the heart of the park's flora and fauna.
This obstacle course takes children through games of agility and reflection to discover the zoo's animals.
Various themes are explored, including trees, animal footprints and biodiversity.
Visiting the animal park
Everything has been thought of to ensure that your visit is as comfortable as possible for the animals.
That's why we recommend that you come to the zoo in the morning. The animals are very active then, and you'll have the whole day to wander around the park.
There are also picnic areas inside the zoo where you can share a warm moment with your family and friends. Children will also be delighted to stretch their legs in the games provided. Tyrolean traverse, balance course, slides... They'll love it!
