The Ramparts Festival in Dinan

A not-to-be-missed event in Dinan, the Fête des Remparts takes place every two years. It boasts one of the biggest medievalist festivals in Europe. Children and adults alike will love it!

The Fête des Remparts programme

Every two years, more than 100,000 visitors take to the cobbled streets of the centre of Dinan, a charming Breton town steeped in history. Over two days, dozens of events dedicated to live entertainment are on offer:

• Dance
• Street art
• Music
• Theatre
• Animal shows

You can also go shopping at an authentic 13th-century fair, attend markets and book fairs, and take part in knightly tournaments. There are also educational activities for the youngest visitors.

Fans of the Middle Ages can even take part in the event dressed in their favourite costume and benefit from a preferential rate!
